Education for Peace-Canada and the International Education for Peace Institute (Canada) extend a most cordial invitation for you to invest in peace as a sponsor of the inaugural International Education for Peace Conference-2007.
With nearly 100 confirmed presentations by distinguished peace education scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers, we predict approximately 200 participants from British Columbia, Canada, the United States, and countries from around the globe will attend the conference from November 14-17 at the Century Plaza Hotel, in Vancouver, B.C.
Safe, healthy communities are at the heart of a thriving business community, and as sponsors, you will have the opportunity to participate in this highly important discourse.
This conference focuses on the education of our communities as well as on educating our children and youth in the principles and practices of peace. It will create a high-level forum for government, civic, and business leaders-along with renowned peace education experts and dedicated educators from across Canada, the United States, Israel, Northern Ireland, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries-to consult on how we should educate every new generation to assume leadership for creating peaceful, prosperous, and progressive communities within an increasingly interdependent global society.
