Nermana Šukalić
BiH Coordinator, EFP-World
Nermana Šukalić is the BiH Coordinator for EFP-World at the EFP-Balkans Head Office, Sarajevo.
In this capacity, she coordinates all the logistics and communications
with local teams in regards to the implementation of the EFP program in
participating schools and is also a liaison with the BiH Pedagogical Institutes
and Ministers of Education.
Ms. Šukalić has been deeply involved in the development of the program since August 2000 as a school coordinator in one of the pilot schools in Sarajevo. In the upcoming phase, she will be taking on a leading role in the expansion of the program into many more schools across both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ms. Šukalić has work experience as a teacher of Bosnian language & literature, a journalist at one of the main radio stations in Sarajevo and worked extensively with the Red Cross during the war. She has also participated in training programs in the field of Conflict Resolution with international non-government organizations, including the Nansen Dialogue Center of Norway.
