Peace Moves

This Holiday Season, and in all Seasons, Give the Gift of Peace

The International Education for Peace Institute (EFP-International) invites you to think beyond traditional gift giving. You are invited to give the Gift of Peace that extends beyond your loved ones and touches people around the world.

How can the "Gift of Peace" be given?

There are 4 ways that you can give the Gift of Peace directly:

1. Purchase and give Peace Moves; a book that discusses the issues, challenges and skills necessary for becoming peacemakers to a young person in your family.

Peace Moves is an engaging and absorbing dialogue dealing with the issues and challenges of creating peace that young people experience in their schools, families, communities, nations and, globally. Youth (11 years and older) who have had the opportunity to study Peace Moves through their school's peace education programs, have found that it has provided them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become peacemakers. And, the world has never been more in need of a new generation of peacemakers as it is now. Click on the link below, to read the second chapter of Peace Moves now.

2. Purchase and donate one or more Peace Moves books to a library, school, community centre, hospital, or organization working with youth.

and,

4. Donate Peace Moves on behalf of someone else and EFP-International will send a card outlining your Gift of Peace to the person of your choice.

EFP-International will contribute to the Gift of Peace in 2 additional ways :

1. All proceeds from the sale of each book are allocated for bringing the Education for Peace Program to those regions of the world that need peace the most.

2. For every 20 books purchased, EFP-International will donate 1 book to school libraries in various developing countries.

EFP-International will keep a running tally of the number of books purchased on-line and will contribute one book for every 20 books sold on-line to schools and libraries in developing countries. Follow the results of your contribution on the EFP Website.

Yours is an enduring gift, beyond the ordinary and traditional.
